Due to the snow, the Hanover Idols Competition has been moved to Sunday, February 21. 5:15pm – Junior Idols Competition and 7:30pm – Hanover Idols Competition. John M. Gandy Elementary School has been selected to receive the 2009-2010 Lowe’s Toolbox for Education Grant from the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation (LCEF). Lowe’s awarded $5,000 to “Gandy’s Garden: In Search of Patterns in Nature.”
We are anticipating that the England Street, Myrtle Street and College Avenue railroad crossings will be closed from 12:00 noon Tuesday and remain closed throughout most of the daytime hours. Please make plans ahead of time to avoid traveling through these crossings as the CSX work continues.

will host a presentation entitled ” A Downtown (Ashland) Enhancement Plan.” The presentation will be on Wednesday, January 27. There will be a social time starting at 6:00 PM and the program will begin at 6:30 PM.
