Hanover Idols Competition moved to Sunday, February 21

John M. Gandy Elementary Receives $5,000 Grant

John M. Gandy Elementary School has been selected to receive the 2009-2010 Lowe’s Toolbox for Education Grant from the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation (LCEF).   Lowe’s awarded $5,000 to “Gandy’s Garden: In Search of Patterns in Nature.”

UPDATED CSX TRAFFIC ADVISORY

We are anticipating that the England Street, Myrtle Street and College Avenue railroad crossings will be closed from 12:00 noon Tuesday and remain closed throughout most of the daytime hours. Please make plans ahead of time to avoid traveling through these crossings as the CSX work continues.
