We’re Green Again in 2010.  On race day (Saturday, April 10, 2010), in addition to the 32^nd running of the Ashland Railroad Run (certified 10K, 5K walk and kids 1-mile fun run), we will have a GREEN Fair with (at last count) 28 green vendors who can show us how to buy locally and eat fresh; we can also learn about llamas, visit a petting zoo, see how solar power works first hand, and MUCH more.  Register online at: www.raceit.com.  To print a paper registration, go to the www.hanoverarts.org home page and click on the paper registration link under News and Happenings – also route maps and verbal instructions for the 10k route are also available at this at this same location.   

Be Green and carpool to the race….or, if you live nearby, walk or bike to the race.  This year, we have a new 10K route (which will be posted very shortly), unusual door prizes, unique trophies, and MUCH more.  Come join the fun on Saturday, April 10, 2010.  The deadline for early bird registration is April 3, 2010 so be sure to register today.

PACKET PICK-UP at Hanover Arts & Activities Center (500 S. Center Street ~ Ashland, VA  23005) on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm OR Friday, April 9, 2009 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm OR race day morning beginning at 7:00 am.  You may also register for the race at all of these times (even race day).

Race start times:  8:00 am – Kids 1 mile fun run;       8:30 am – 10K Run      8:45 am – 5K walk
