2010 RESTORE VIRGINIA!  Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Historic Old Towne Petersburg, VA.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the event. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.preservationvirginia.org beginning April 1, 2010.  

Participants can expect to gain a greater understanding of how to care for the special needs of historic buildings. Specialists will speak on the following topics:  historic window repair and maintenance, historic masonry repair and lime mortars, preventing water in, obtaining, using and syndicating historic rehabilitation tax credits.

Vendors and presentations will be at the Union Train Station located at 103 River Street, Petersburg, VA.  Vendors specializing in historic restoration trades, preservation craftsmen, contractors, preservation community groups, local traditional crafters, conservators, dealers in architectural salvage and antiques will be in the Union Train Station.
