Ashland - In the spirit of community collaboration and teamwork taught through youth sports, Luck Chevrolet has forged a partnership with Ashland Little League through the Chevy Youth Baseball program that will include both monetary and equipment donations during the 2008 season.

"We are extremely excited to be able to enhance the experience, through the generosity of Chevy Youth Baseball, that the kids will have during their season with Ashland Little League," said Ross Luck of Luck Chevrolet. "As a parent that has had children in Ashland Little League, I have seen first-hand what a great job they do in teaching kids not only about baseball, but about teamwork and good sportsmanship as well. They are very deserving of all the benefits this sponsorship provides."  Paul Burch, President of Ashland Little League, echoes the good vibes. "We are thrilled that Luck Chevrolet has chosen our league for this initiative, and we are very grateful to Luck Chevrolet and Chevy Youth Baseball for this opportunity."

Now in its third year, Chevy Youth Baseball is an initiative that establishes relationships between local dealers and the communities they serve. Luck Chevrolet, a long-time sponsor of Ashland organizations, is excited to once again contribute to such an outstanding program as Ashland Little League. Luck Chevrolet will donate team equipment kits, which include: equipment bags, baseballs, ball buckets, and T-shirts. They will also help in raffling-off a chance to win a Chevy Tahoe. Teams and leagues that participate in the Tahoe raffle keep 100 percent of the proceeds. Raffle tickets are only $5 and are available from any family or staff member participating in the League this year. Ashland Little League will also have unique experiences by participating in baseball clinics and other activities led by the Richmond Braves players and staff.

Ashland Little League, a community fixture in Ashland for over 40 years, kicks-off its 2008 season on April 12 with opening day ceremonies in the morning and games in the afternoon. Luck Chevrolet is celebrating 100 years of doing business in Ashland and has recently been awarded the NADA Century Award, recognizing dealerships that have been family-owned for 100 years or more.
