Miss Hanover 2012 is the local affiliate of the Miss Virginia and Miss America Scholarship Organizations. The winner will win scholarships and compete on the state level in Roanoke, VA for Miss Virginia 2012 in June. To be eligible, ladies must be between 17-24 years old, never married, go to school, work or live in Virginia for a minimum of 6 months. A panel of judges will interview each one prior to the afternoon competition which consists of talent, physical fitness in swimsuit, evening gown and onstage interview.
