The Randolph-Macon College Drama Department presents “The Matter of Martin” Feb. 20-23, 2013. This production is directed by Devon E. Mattys.
Two siblings struggle to accept each other and themselves at their father’s deathbed. Martin, a female-to-male transsexual, has not been home since leaving to pursue life as a gay man in New York. His older brother Jeff is the child who stayed behind, desperate to make things right for his parents after the breakup of their family. At its heart, the play is about family, the inviolable bond of blood, and the devastation of never mentioning the things that matter most.
**For mature audiences only: graphic language and adult situations**
