On April 21, 2010, the candidates for Town Council gathered at the FireHouse Theater for a “Meet and Greet” with the public, sponsored by the Coalition for Hanover’s Future, Randolph-Macon College and the Herald-Progress. There are two seats open on Town Council — Faye Prichard is seeking another term, on a ticket with James Foley who is campaigning for the seat being vacated by Billy Martin. Lucinda Jones is a write-in candidate. Click on a thumbnail to watch all three respond to a question collected from the audience, or watch sequentially for the entire event.
Dr. Lauren Hill of Randolph-Macon College was the moderator. Andrea Ferment of the Coalition for Hanover’s Future was the host. With much thanks to the League of Women Voters for their guidance and support, and the Ashland FireHouse Theater for a welcoming venue for the event.
Please don’t forget to vote on May 4 — every vote counts!
